Sea Ranch Resort

Official real-wedding post documents a May the 4th wedding with lightsabers lining the ceremony aisle.

Sea Ranch Resort sits directly on the Outer Banks oceanfront in Kill Devil Hills, and its own Wedding Wednesday feature documents a May the 4th celebration where lightsabers lined the ceremony aisle on the beach. The combination of sand, dunes and a themed aisle made for striking photos, and the resort's oceanfront event spaces handle both ceremony and reception in one place. It is a natural fit for couples dreaming of a beach wedding with a Star Wars accent. The featured wedding is a historical example rather than a standing package, so confirm current beach ceremony arrangements, permits and any theme plans with the resort's events team. Practical notes: beach ceremonies on the Outer Banks may require permits and are tide- and weather-dependent, so confirm the backup indoor space, and the resort's oceanfront rooms let guests stay steps from the celebration. Ask about the season for beach ceremonies, bonfire or reception options on the sand, and how the team handled the themed aisle details at the documented wedding.
