Kimpton Journeyman Hotel

Hotel and rooftop event spaces counted once..

The Kimpton Journeyman Hotel anchors Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward, and its wedding offering pairs the Founders Room with the adjoining terrace shown in the photo — hotel and rooftop event spaces counted once. The setup gives couples an indoor reception room with direct access to open-air skyline views, so cocktails can spill outside in good weather while dinner stays covered. As a hotel venue it handles catering, bar service and guest accommodation in one contract, which simplifies planning considerably. When enquiring, confirm whether the terrace is included with the Founders Room, how the space is tented or backed up in bad weather, and current guest limits. Also confirm whether the terrace is exclusive to your event, the hotel's room block and suite options for the wedding party, in-house catering menus, and how the space handles winter events. The Third Ward location puts restaurants and the Riverwalk within walking distance for guests.
